Support for Visio 2010
TaskMap 4 supports Visio 2010. A completely fresh design and new ribbon icons have been developed to make TaskMap even more intuitive for new users and non-experts.
Find/Replace for all Text
TaskMap now provides find/replacefor all text in a TaskMap, even the Guidelines, Resources and other parts of the Task shape
Additional User-defined Fields
Utilize as many as three customizable user-defined fields for each Task shape. You can assign a name to each field and you can even designate whether each field should contain numeric, text, date, currency or list-based data. Your customized fields, including your choice of field names, will appear on the shape data dialog.
Save as Process Folder
You’ve created a TaskMap of your process and now you’d like to create and manage a project based on your map. TaskMap v4 makes this easy to do by creating a copy of your TaskMap (and corresponding TaskMap Capture workbooks, if any), allowing you to track project status and completion.
Save as PowerPoint
Need to present a TaskMap at a meeting or conference? With two clicks you can save an entire TaskMap as a PowerPoint presentation, complete with a Table of Contents hyperlinked to each map page.
Save as Project
Want to turn your TaskMap into a Microsoft Project plan? You can easily do so by using the new Save as Project feature.
Check My Map
Do you have any duplicate Task IDs? Are all of your Task Links connected on both ends? Is your map too complex? You can now have TaskMap check the validity of your TaskMap by examining these and other aspects of your map.
Auto-creation of TaskMap Capture for Excel Workbook from Existing Map
Do you have an existing TaskMap and would like to maintain your data in a TaskMap Capture for Excel (TCE) workbook? TaskMap v4 will create a fully functional TCE workbook from any existing TaskMap, including all Task data, whether the map was created with TaskMap Lite, Standard or Professional.
Enhanced Email Hyperlinks
The email hyperlink dialog allows you to include CC and BCC addresses in addition to multiple TO addressees. In addition, you can include the subject line and even the body text of the message in the hyperlink merely by completing a simple form.

New reports include a Hyperlinks Report, Key Decisions Report, Roles by Task Report and more.
Additional Hyperlink Types for Connector
You can add document and web page hyperlinks to a Connector in addition to creating links to other TaskMap pages.
Page/Task Hyperlinks show Task Description
The hyperlink dialog now shows both the Task ID and Task Description for potential hyperlink targets making it easier to select the correct target Task.
Spell Check for all Text
TaskMap now provides spell checking for all text in a TaskMap, even the Guidelines, Resources and other parts of the Task shape
Autolink
Produce TaskMaps more quickly by “shooting” Task Links from any Task to an adjacent Task – no need to drag Task Links from the stencil onto the page.
When you drop a Task onto a Task Link arrow, the Task Link splits into two and both arrows reconnect to the new Task
The Task shape now requires just a single left or right click for access to its data properties and the hyperlink dialog.
Smart Tags on Tasks
Task shapes now feature Smart Tags that provide one-click access to key Task data and functions.

The new autolayout wizard makes short work of creating a new TaskMap page: just tell it how many Tasks you'd like on the page, how many Tasks to place in each row and whether you'd like it to draw Task Links between each pair of Tasks. The wizard will create your map in seconds.
