BPM made simpler

jfkThe Call of Inspiration is a strategy that sometimes works for macro level change. John F. Kennedy’s speech in Berlin, Martin Luther King’s “I have a dream” and Abraham Lincoln’s Gettysburg address all fall into the category of a “Inspirational call” that worked in a very big way.

How do we make this “major call to action” work for us in a project. Well it’s not as hard as you think. Almost every company or organization is doing something noble, or something that appears to be altruistic. Find out what that is, and the connect your project or Process Improvement program to it. For example:

  • An environmental goal of using less energy
  • Helping others through some charitable work or donation e.g.  Newman’s Own
  • Review any goals or supporting programs that your organization may have that doing some thing good for the common good of others
