BPM made simpler

If you are considering TaskMap for your organization for process mapping applications you will have to consider licensing options to make the most effective use of the software for your organization. There are three considerations that will lead to the options:

  1. I have many individuals involved authoring and editing the process maps. e.g. more than 5 or 10 individuals
  2. I have 5 or less individuals who need to author or edit my process maps
  3. I have many individuals who need to maintain Task information at a departmental or individual level, but not as many who need to author/edit the process maps.

If the answer was 1. Then the recommendation would be:

Enterprise licensing

The concurrent licensing model permits the installation of TaskMap products on an unlimited number of desktop computers, but only permits simultaneous use of the number of concurrent licenses purchased. Ideal for organizations that need to provide widespread access to TaskMap but where users do not need constant access to the software. More details here.

If the answer was 2, our recommendations would be:

Individual licensing

The individual license model. This activates a license to an individual machine and an individual user on that machine. It is the lowest cost option, but has less flexibility than the enterprise license. Currently each license is activated individually for each system via email.

If your answer was 3, then:

A combination of Products

A combination of TaskMap Professional and TaskMap Capture for Excel could be the best solution for this scenario. Using TaskMap Capture for Excel allows users to maintain Task data and then update it dynamically in the process maps located on your server or system.
