Layout and Flow
This flow chart shows what happens when authors don’t follow any type of standards for layout and flow. Problems include:
- Chart does not read from left to right
- Conflicting flows have been color coded, making it all but impossible to follow
- Overlapping lines make it hard to decipher
A simpler approach would have been to keep the flow left to right top to bottom and avoid overlapping links and lines wherever possible.
