Thank you for choosing TaskMap Lite!
TaskMap Lite consists of a Visio template with an accompanying stencil. The installation program places the TaskMap Lite template on your Windows desktop and puts the stencil in Visio’s default stencil folder: \Documents\My Shapes
To create a new TaskMap Lite diagram, double-click the template on your desktop. That will launch Visio, open the stencil, and create a new TaskMap Lite diagram based on the template.
The software is very easy to use so feel free to dive right in. Just be sure you open Visio’s Shape Data window because that’s where you’ll enter the data that will be visualized on each Task and Task Link shape. (To open the Shape Data window: right-click any shape, select Data and then Shape Data. You can reposition the window or dock it at any edge of the drawing window by clicking and dragging the header.)
If you’d like assistance, feel free to watch any of the short videos in the TaskMap Lite section of our Training page.
